Fireball - World Championship 2018 - Carnac FRA - Final results, Jospe/Egli CAN 35th

 Fireball - World Championship 2018 - Carnac FRA - Final results, Jospe/Egli CAN 35th Only one race was held at the Fireball Worlds in Carnac FRA and Matt Burge/Daniel Schieber GBR finishing 4th secured the World Champion's title. Penny Clark/Russell Clark GBR defended rank 2 and Thomas Guillard/Geoff Edwards GBR as 3rd made the English triumph complete. The best non-Brits are Milan Cap/Filip Prohachska CZE on rank 7 followed by Claude Mermod/Ruedi Moser SUI on the 8th place. Joe Jospe/Tom Egli CAN finished on the 35th place.

Fireball - World Championship 2018 - Carnac FRA - Day 4, Jospe/Egli CAN 37th

 Fireball - World Championship 2018 - Carnac FRA - Day 4, Jospe/Egli CAN 37th Bad day for the clearly leading Dobson/Wagstaff GBR, ranks 21/2/dnf and dropping on rank 4 overall after the three races held in inital light winds, increasing to 15kn during the day, at the Fireball Worlds continuing yesterday after a layday. Matt Burge/Daniel Schieber GBR advanced on rank 1 with a 2 points' lead on Penny Clark/Russell Clark GBR on 2nd. Thomas Guillard/Geoff Edwards GBR follow on the 3rd place. Joe Jospe/Tom Egli CAN are 37th among the 99 teams racing.

 Fireball - World Championship 2018 - Carnac FRA - Day 3, Jospe/Egli CAN 18th After two windy day in Carnac, only very light winds prevailed yesterday, allowing to complete just one shortened race in the afternoon. The dominating British teams kept their top positions, also because of the fact, that the discard result was activated.
Day winners were Matt Burge/Daniel Schieber GBR, defending their 3rd place overall, joining point-wise the second-ranked Penny Clark/Russell Clark GBR. Leaders remain Ian Dobson/Richard Wagstaff GBR with at 2 points' advantage. Jospe/Egli CAN saild their disacard (rank 69) and dropped on rank 29 overall.

 Fireball - World Championship 2018 - Carnac FRA - Day 2, Jospe/Egli CAN 18th Sun and moderate 8 to 11kn wind prevailed yesterday in Carnac during another two races at the Fireball Worlds with the British delegation still dominating. The same teams as on the previous day were on the first positions.
Ian Dobson/Richard Wagstaff GBR, ranks 1 and 2, defended their lead 2 points ahead of Penny Clark/ Russell Clark GBR. Matt Burge/Daniel Schieber GBR progressed on rank 3. The best non-English are Milan Cap/Filip Prochazka CZE on rank 7. Jospe/Egli CAN are 18th.

Fireball - World Championship 2018 - Carnac FRA - Day 1, Jospe/Egli CAN 17th

 Fireball - World Championship 2018 - Carnac FRA - Day 1, Jospe/Egli CAN 17th Fresh winds around 15kn and a rough sea prevailed in Carnac FRA yesterday during the first day at the well-attended Fireball World Championship with 101 teams from 14 nations. The English teams dominated the scene with 6 teams in the first six ranks.
Finishing twice as 2nd, Ian Dobson/Richard Wagstaff GBR are the first leaders one point ahead of Penny Clark/Russell Clark GBR. The best non-Brit team are on rank 7 Barry McMartin/Connor Kinsella IRL. Joe Jospe/Tom Egli CAN are on the 17th place.
