 6mJI - European Championship 2018 - La Trinité-sur-Mer FRA - Final Day The 6mJI Europeans were concluded yesterday with two races sailed in sun with an initial 15kn breeze, decreasing to 8kn during the day.
'Nivola' of Reinhard Suhner SUI added another bullet and defended her lead by a small margin against Philipp Durr SUI with his 'Junior' one point behind. Bronze went to Patrick De Barros POR.
In the Classics, HM King Juan Carlos of Spain (among others with Ross MacDonald CAN) was the premature ESP before the last races. Eric Jespersen CAN followed on rank 2, O. Paija FRA finished 3rd.

 6mJI - European Championship 2018 - La Trinité-sur-Mer FRA - Day 3 After two sunny light-wind days, the sky was overcast and a 10-20kn prevailed yesterday. Three races were held.
In the Classics, the premature Champion is HM King Juan Carlos of Spain winning two races who cannot be beaten today in the last race. Eric Jesperson CAN and O. Peija FRA follow on the ranks 2 and 3.
In the Open Division, the new leader is Rainer Suhner SUI with a 6 points' lead on Philippe Durr SUI. Another point back follows Patrick De Barros POR.

 6mJI - European Championship 2018 - La Trinité-sur-Mer FRA - Day 2, Jespersen CAN 1st Classic The announced seabreeze did not show up yesterday afternoon, and therefore only one race in the morning in a slackening Northwind was held. Finishing on rank 2, Jali Mäkilä FIN took the lead in the Open rankings one point ahead of Rainer Suhner SUI. Patrick De Barros POR descended on rank 3. In the Classics, Eric Jesperson CAN defended his lead ahead of the HM King Juan Carlos of Spain.

 6mJI - European Championship 2018 - La Trinité-sur-Mer FRA - Day 1 The 6mIJ European Championship began at the French Atlantic Coast yesterday in sun and light winds with two races.
First in the Open Division is Patrick Monteira De Barros POR ahead of Rainer Suhner SUI and Philippe Durr SUI. In the Classics, Eric Jesperson CAN - Star-Olympia-Medalist 1992 - won both heats of the day. The retired King Juan Carlos ESP follows on rank 2.
