 Laser Standard & Radial - U21 World Championship 2019 - Split CRO - Final results, the Medals go to South America, Asia and Europe, best NorAm Liam Bruce CAN 20th The Laser U21 World Championships in Split CRE were successfully concluded yesterday with three races per Class. ----- In the Lasers Radial, Wiktoria Golebiowska POL grasped the title with an 11 point advantage on Valeria Lomatchenko RUS. Maria Kislukhina RUS moved up on rank 3. ----- In the Lasers Standard, Juan-Pablo Cardozo ARG finished on top just one point in front of Clemente Seguel CHI. Bronze went to Vishnu Saravanan IND. ----- The best North American Liam Bruce CAN finished on the 20th place among the 144 participants. Gerardo Benitez MEX is 127th, Peter McGriff USA 132nd. ----- After an almost windless week with only two races, both fleet completed three heats yesterday in a good breeze allowing to validate the Championship with a discard result. ----- The ranking lists, the final report and the event facebook page.

 Laser Standard & Radial - U21 World Championship 2019 - Split CRO - Day 5, only two races per Class completed so far, Liam Bruce CAN 36th best North American Very light winds again at the Laser U21 Worlds in Split CRO and only the Radials and the Blue Group of the Standards could sail a race early in the morning. ----- In the Lasers Radial, Karla Savar CRO is now one point ahead of Wiktoria Golebiowska POL. Valeria Lomatschenko RUS on 3rd is already 8 points behind. ----- In the Lasers Standard, Pere Ponseti ESP is one point in front of Vishnu Saravanan IND. Paul Morvan FRA follows another point behind. ----- Liam Bruce CAN on rank 36 is the best North American in the 143 boat fleet. Gerardo Benitez MEX is 101st, Peter McGriff USA 133rd. ----- Today is the final day of the Championship and two more races are mandatory to validate the Championship.  Laser Standard & Radial - U21 World Championship 2019 - Split CRO - Day 4, difficult light wind conditions Very light winds in Split CRO at the Laser U21 Worlds again and only one race for the Radial women and one group of the Standards could be completed. ----- Wiktoria Golebiowska POL was the winner in the Radials ahead of Kim Pletikos SLO and Laura Schewe GER. The women ranking list. ----- Only group yellow of the men finished a race, and there is no consolidated ranking list available. Winner of the day was Maor Ben Harosh ISR.  Laser Standard & Radial - U21 World Championship 2019 - Split CRO - Day 3, only one Standard race completed Finally on the third day of the Laser U-21 Worlds in Split CRO, some light winds filled in allowing to complete a race in each of the two Laser Standard fleets. The Radials race was abandoned in the slackening breeze. ------ Winners of the day in the Standards were Paul Morvan FRA and Pere Ponsetti ESP.----- Noah Collinson CAN is 25th, Gerardo Benitez MEX 43rd and Peter McGriff 53rd in their groups. ----- The consolidated rankings have not yet been published on the event website this morning UTC. ----- The daily news.  Laser Standard & Radial - U21 World Championship 2019 - Split CRO, with CAN, MEX and USA participants The 2019 Laser Standard and Radial U21 World Championships begins today in Split CRO with the Practice Races. 146 Lasers Standard from 46 nations and 71 Radials from 31 nations are on the entry lists. The North Americans are represented with four CAN, one MEX and one USA Laser Standard sailors, as well as one USA and one CAN Laser Radial women sailors.
