ILCA 6 & 7 - U21 World Championship 2021 - Gdynia POL - Final results

No wind on the last day of the U21 World Championship in Poland, and the rankings of the previous day after 10 races each became final. ----- Zac Littlewood AUS won the men's title (ILCA 7) 23 points ahead of Matteo Paulon ITA. Bronze went to Julian Hoffmann GER. - The ranking ILCA 7. ----- Giorgia della Valle ITA and Chiara Benini ITA secured an Italian double victory in the ILCA 6 women. ILCA 6 & 7 - U21 World Championship 2021 - Gdynia POL - Day 5

With sunshine and moderate winds, two races were sailed yesterday. ----- Zac Littlewood AUS was again best of the day in ILCA 7 yesterday, and his lead before today's final races is 23 points. The silver medal also seems to be booked: Matteo Paulon ITA is in 2nd place 18 points ahead of Julian Hoffmann GER. - the ranking ILCA 7 (Boys). ----- In the women's ILCA 6, the title will be decided in an Italian duel between Giorgia della Valle ITA and Chiara Benini ITA 2 points behind. The third-ranked Marilena Makri CYP 6 points behind, still has a chance to win as well. - the ranking list ILCA 6 (girls).

In moderate winds, the final races in Gold and Silverfleet started yesterday for the men in ILCA 7 (Laser Standard). The women in ILCA 6 (Laser Radial) continue to sail in one fleet. ----- Zac Littlewood AUS remains the sovereign leader in the ILCA 7 Goldfleet with already 28 points advantage. Matteo Paulon ITA follows on rank 2, Bruno Gaspic CRO has moved up to rank 3. Juian Hoffmann GER follows on rank 7. Fresh winds prevailed again on the third day of the ILCA U21 World Championships in Poland, and two races were sailed. ----- In the 58 Girls fleet, Marilena Makri CYP and Giorgia della Valle ITA continue to share the lead with equal points. Chiara Benini ITA is 8 points behind in third place. The Ranking list Girls. ----- Outstanding in the Boys Zac Littlewood AUS who extended his lead to 10 points with two race wins in his group. Again, two races were sailed. ----- In the women's ILCA 6 (Laser Radial), Marilena Makri CYP, Ana Moncada ESP and Giorgia della Valle ITA share the lead on equal points. ILCA 6 & 7 - U21 World Championship 2021 - Gdynia POL - Day 1

In light winds, the ILCA 6 & 7 U21 Junior World Championships (Laser Radial and Standard) started yesterday in Gdynia with two races. ----- With 4th and 5th place, Lilly Niezabitowska POL took the lead in the girls' race 6 points ahead of Gesa Papenthin GER and Carlotta Crüsemann GER. Anja Von Allmen SUI won the first race of the day and follows in 4th place. - The ranking list Girls. ----- Alexandre Kowalski FRA and Finley Dickinson GBR share the lead in the Boys fleet.
