The Optis meeting on Lake Garda came to an end yesterday. With a victory also in the final race, Sviatoslav Madonich UKR won superiorly ahead of Alessandro Cirinei ITA and Levi Bernhardz SWE. Ellinor Grant, the only Swiss in the Goldfleet, was 138th. A total of 900 participants were at the start. Yesterday on Lake Garda, the finals of the Optimist-Meeting started with 3 races. ----- Sviatoslav Madonich UKR was able to pull away in the gold fleet with a lead of 22 points. With 6 races completed after two days of racing, the qualification for the final regattas is over. ----- James Pine USA and Sviatoslav Madonich UKR are tied for the lead in the Juniors, followed by Alberto Avanzini ITA in third.
