Dull conditions marred the start to the European Championships of the two Olympic ILCAs. Only the ILCA 7 fleet, divided into three groups, was able to complete one race each. ----- The day's victories went to Olympic gold medallist Matthew Wearn AUS, World Champion Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA and Philipp Buhl GER. Matteo Paulon SUI follows as best of the 6 Swiss on rank 52 of the 186 participants. Three races are scheduled to be sailed in each class today. ----- The ranking list and the report.

ILCA 6 & 7 - European Championship 2023 - Andora ITA - First races today
This morning at 10 am, the European Championships of the Olympic ILCA 6 and 7 will take place in Andora on the Ligurian coast. ----- A little more than a year before the Marseille Olympic Games, the fleets are top-filled: 195 ILCA 7s from 44 nations, including Olympic champion Matthew Wearn AUS and world champion Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA as well as all other Olympic aspirants. Switzerland is represented by 6 boats. ----- In the women's ILCA 6, there are 116 participants from 42 nations. The Swiss national team is missing, but with 5 newcomers, Switzerland is still well-represented. ----- The non-Olympic ILCA men are also participating, with 71 participants from 17 nations, including 4 Swiss. ----- All entry lists and the preview.
