Bronze went to Joana Gonçalves/Gabriela Vassel BRA, who won the Junior World Championship title in Buzios BRA in December. The 420s are organising this year's World Championship in South America as well: The start of the practice race is scheduled for thursday in Rio. 65 men's teams from 13 nations and 26 women's teams from 8 nations are competing.
