 18 Footer - JJ Giltinan Trophy - Sydney AUS - Final results With the 9th and final race, the 18-footer World Championship came to an end yesterday in Sydney - we broadcast the race live. ----- With another victory, 'Yandoo' with Micah Lane/Fang Warren/Lewis Brake AUS secured the title ahead of 'Rag&Famish Hotel' with Harry Price/Josh McKnight/Finn Rodowicz AUS. 'Black Knight' with Heinrich von Bayern/Thomas Martin/Andy Martin GER finished an excellent 5th place, making them the best international team. ----- The ranking and the Facebook page.

 18 Footer - JJ Giltinan Trophy - Sydney AUS - Race 7 We have been broadcasting the races of the 18-footer World Championship in Sydney early in the morning since Sunday. Today is a rest day, the decisive two races are scheduled for the weekend - again live on www.sailing-news.com. With mostly moderate winds between 8 and 15 knots, 7 races have been sailed so far. Yandoo with Micah Lane AUS leads, followed 4 points behind by Rag & Famish (Harry Price) and Andoo (John Winning jr.) in 2nd place. The best non-Australian team is Black Knight with Heinrich von Bayern in an excellent 5th place. The ranking list and the report.

 18 Footer - JJ Giltinan Trophy - Sydney AUS The JJ Giltinan Trophy, the world championship of the 18-footer class, starts tomorrow with the practice race (invitational race). We will be broadcasting the races live every day early in the morning from 4.20 a.m. CET. In the season so far, the favorite Australian teams have made a name for themselves: 'Andoo' (John Winning jr AUS), 'Yandoo' (Micah Lane AUS) and 'Finport' (Kevin York AUS) will have to fend off the New Zealand competition over the next 8 days. From Europe, teams from England, Denmark and, with Heinrich von Bayern GER, a German team will also be taking part. ----- The reports.
