Olympic Classes - Copa do Brasil - Rio de Janeiro BRA - Day 4

The Copa do Brazil is in the crucital phase today to select the fleets for tomorrow's Medal Races.
Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS have extended their lead in the 470 men on 24 points and will most probably be the premature overall winners already this evening. Mion/Bouvet FRA and McNay/Hughes USA kept their ranks 2 and 3. Hannah Mills/Saskia Clark GBR on first in the 470 women are now 5 points ahead of Lecointre/Defrance FRA. Mrak/Macarol SLO moved up on rank 3.
Pink/Bithell GBR are now the clear leaders in the 49ers with Lange/Lange ARG and Outteridge/Jensen AUS as first chasers. Three race wins yesterday extended the lead of Tamara Echegoyen/Berta Betanzos ESP in the 49ersFX. Bekkering/Duetz NED and Maj-Hansen/Salskov DEN remained on the positions 2 and 3.
Giles Scott GBR had the upper hand in the duel on top of the Finns with two race wins, but Vasilij Zbogar SLO is only 3 points back. The new leaders in the Nacras 17 are Jason Waterhouse/Lisa Darmanin AUS, one point ahead of Thomas Zajac/Tanja Frank AUT. Saxton/Grove GBR and Besson/Riou FRA on the ranks 3 and 4 are not far behind.
The new leader in the Lasers Standard is Tonci Stipanovic CRO, 3 points in front of Matthew Wearn AUS. New on rank 3 is now Bruno Fontes BRA closely followed by Robert Scheidt BRA. Evi Van Acker BEL defended her first place in the Lasers Radial. Anne-Marie Rindom DEN and Marit Bouwmeester NED swapped their positions chasing Van Acker.
Dorian Van Rijsselberge NED in the RS:X male windsurfers and Chan Hei Man CHN in the RS:X women are on top of the windsurfers.
