Roughly three days are left for the two Maxi-Trimarans to beat the circumnavigation record - probably not enough - as 'Spindrift' with Yann Guichard FRA/Dona Bertarelli SUI still have about 2500 miles to cross. 'IDEC' with Francis Joyon FRA is another 260 miles behind 'Spindrift' and would have to complete three 24-hours-records in a row to compensate the lag.
