2'000 miles before the finish line, 'Spindrift' stalled yesterday in an arm of the Azores anticyclone, and the lost fight for the record turns now in a duel with 'IDEC' of Francis Joyon FRA and his team only 100 miles behind Yann Guichard FRA/Dona Bertarelli FRA this morning. The two Maxi-Trimarans are expected back in France next Friday, roughly two days too late for the Jules Verne Trophy.
