The 2016 Moth Australian Nationals continued yesterday on on the Swan River in Perth on another hot - over 40° - Western Australian summer day with two races, before an upcoming thunderstorm stopped the competition early in the day. Four more heats are on the program today, last day of the event. Only a full crash eliminating him early in the day could stop Josh McKnight AUS from winning the title as he has won 10 of the 12 races completed so far. Alike safe on rank 2 is Robert Gough AUS. The best European Ed Chapman GBR defended his 3rd place so far. Among the best in the OZ-dominated Championship is also Stefano Ferrighi ITA, advancing on rank 7 after achieving the best race ranks of the fleet yesterday.
