Star - Midwinter Championship, Coral Reef YC, Miami FL, USA, day 1

The Star Midwinter Championship on Bay Biscaine, third of the five Miami Star Winter events, was planned to begin yesterday. A race was started in a 4 kn breeze but abandoned when the wind dropped to under 1 kn. Three races are scheduled today with a forecast worse than today, as Paul Cayard USA reports.
