Various classes - Key West Race Week - Key West FL, USA - Final results

The morning thunderstorms did not inhibit the program of the final day of the Key West Race Week, and all classes completed the last two heats of the event in an initial 20 kn wind, increasing to up to 30 kn and a rough, challenging sea at the end, the icing on the cake after an excellent week. Only a few position changes in the top ranks occurred.
Carlo Alberini ITA with Branko Brcin SLO calling the shots was the clear winner in the J/70 with a 12 points' advantage on Peter Duncan USA and Tim Healey USA. In the Melges 24, it was Richard Thompson GBR (with Jamie Lea GBR) who replaced John Brown USA (Kevin Jewitt USA) on top. Richard Reid CAN (Chris Rast SUI) remained on 3rd.
