Olympic Worldcup 2016 - Olympic Classes Regatta - Miami FL, USA - Day 2

Light winds on day 2 of the Miami Worldcup as well, and only the Lasers and 49ers completed the full program.
Stuart McNay/David Hughes USA have taken the lead in the 470 men with two bullets. Barreiros/Curbelo ESP and Schmid/Reichstädter AUT follow on 2nd and 3rd. In the 470 women, the first-ranked Fernanda Oliveira/Ana-Luisa Barbachan BRA extended their lead with the ranks 1 and 2. New on the 2nd place are Lara Vadlau/Jolanta Ogar AUT.
Austrian is the lead also in the 49ers with Nico Delle-Karth/Nikolaus Resch AUT. Peters/Sterritt GBR and Lima/Costa POR are the first persuers. Ragna and Maia Ragerup NOR defended their lead in the 49ersFX, ahead of Maloney/Meech NZL and Grael/Kunze BRA.
The Finns remained without valid result. Winner of the only heat sailed so far was Jonas Hoegh-Christensen DEN. With a solid row of top results and considering the discard result, Jason Waterhouse/Lisa Darmanin AUS have taken the top place in the Nacra 17. Mandy Mulder/Coen de Koning NED and Santiago Lange/Cecilia Carranza ARG follow on the ranks 2 and 3.
While the RS:X women windsurfers stayed without valid race yesterday - the only race so far was won by Lillian de Geus NED -, the RS:X men windsurfers finished at least one heat, and again, it was Chunzhuang Liu CHN on first. Dorian Van Rijsselberghe NED and Aichen Wang CHN remained on the ranks 2 and 3.
