Laser - Olympic Worldcup 2016 - Miami Olympic Classes Regatta - Miami FL, USA - Day 3

A slightly fresher breeze - 8-10 kn - prevailed yesterday and both Laser fleets concluded the qualifications for the Gold and Silver Fleets.
Three races were sailed by the Lasers Radial. Winning all three of her Group, Marit Bouwmeester NED moved up on rank 1 overall, clearly ahead of Evi Van Acker BEL on 2nd and Lijia XU CHN on 3rd .... the complete 2012 Olympic podium in the lead in Miami. The best North Americans by nation are on the following places: Bowskill CAN 8th, Railey USA 15th, Montemayor MEX 37th.
Another race win also for Rutger Van Schaardenburg NED in the Lasers Standard, extending his lead on Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA on 16 points. New on rank 3 is Jesper Stalheim SWE. The best North Americans by nation are: Buckingham USA 11th, Thompson ISV 22nd, Parkhill CAN 24th, Gentry MEX 44th, Perdomo PUR 56th
