Three races were sailed on the second day of the America's Cup World Series 2016 in Oman as well. 'Oracle Team USA' (Jimmy Spithill AUS) and 'Team New Zealand' (Glenn Ashby AUS) remained on the rankd 2 and 3. The team of the day was 'Groupama Team France' with Adam Minoprio NZL as helmsman, replacing Franck Cammas FRA still recovering from his accident, with the ranks 2 and 1 and moving up on the 4th position.
