World Youth Sailing World Championship 2016 - Oman OMN - Youth Worlds cancelled

World Sailing announced in a press release that the Oman Sailing Committee has withdrawn from hosting the 2016 Youth Sailing World Championships which were due to take place in December 2016. After the scandal in Malaysia last December - the Israeli windsurfers, defending champions in both genders, did not receive visas - WS requested all organizing authorities to confirm acceptance of all nations without exceptions. WS is now urgently looking for a new organiser for this year's Youth Worlds at the same time of the year.
