GC32-Catamaran - Extreme Sailing Series - Act 2 - Qingdao CHN - Final Day - Victory for 'Alinghi'

The second Act of the Extreme Sailing Series 2016 was concluded yesterday in an 8-10 kn breeze, just enough to allow foiling. 'Alinghi' with Arnaud Psarofaghis SUI and 'Oman Air' with Morgan Larson USA duelled for the overall victory during the day until the fog filled in impeding the final double point race. 'Alinghi' remained on top with a 6 points' advantage on 'Oman Air'. The 'Red Bull Sailing Team' with Roman Hagara AUT moved up on rank 3. 'Oman Air' remains overall Series leader, but 'Alinghi' has reduced the backlog on 2 points. The 3rd Act will take place in Cardiff GBR in June. The report with results.
