After one week racing, the three Ultime Trimarans are already on the final approach to the finish in New York. 525 miles are left for the leader François Gabart FRA ('Macif'). With a 156 miles advantage on the second-ranked Thomas Coville FRA ('Sodebo'), he will hardly loose the first place. In the Multi-50 Trimarans, Gilles Lamiré FRA is even 218 miles in front of Lalou Roucayrol FRA on rank 2. The duel on top of the Open 60s between Armel Le Cléac'h FRA ('Banque Populaire') and Vincent Riou FRA ('PRB') continues with a gap of 25 miles between the two monohulls. Phil Sharp GBR in the Class 40s has completed his 6-hours-penalty descending on rank 3 in the interim's rankings. He was sanctioned by the Jury for infringing the banned commercial cargo zone shortly after the start. Thibault Vauchel FRA and Isabelle Joschke GER/FRA 20 miles behind duel for the lead.
