The 2.4m, the Skuds-18 and the Sonars have another two races on the program
No change on top of the Lasers Standard with Victor Teply CZE 2 points in front of Sergei Komissarov RUS, Nicolo Villa ITA follows as 3rd. The discard and a good 3rd race rank helped Nils Theuninck SUI to advance on rank 5 with a 13 points' backlog on Teply CZE. The podium is within reach. For Janik Roempp SUI on rank 20 however, the Olympic Garda is over.
In the Lasers Radial, Vasileia Karachaliou GRE is in the lead with a 4 points' advantage on Valentina Balbi ITA. Dolores Moreira URU follows as 3rd. Andrea Nordquist SUI on rank 5, 11 points behind the first, participates in today's double-point-no-discard Medal Race and has still chances for the podium. Lucie Ben-Amor SUI missed the final of the 10 best by 6 points only.
in the 2.4m, Matt Bugg AUS extended his lead on 11 points. Up again on rank 2 is Dee Smith USA. In the duel of the best Skud-18-teams of the past years, Daniel Fitzgibbon/Liesl Tesch AUS reduced the backlog on the leading Alexandra Rickham/Nikki Birrell GBR to one point. In the Sonars too, a close duel between John Robertson GBR and his team and Colin Harrison AUS one point behind will decide on the overall win in the last races today.
