Olympic Classes - Delta Lloyd Regatta - Medemblik NED - Day 2

A very light breeze prevailed over the Ijssel-Meer yesterday after the windy opening day, but nevertheless, all classes except the windsurfers, completed the full program in a 4-8 kn wind.
Flawless the results of Simon Sivitz/Jas Farneti ITA winning again both heats. The best women's team are now Domenique Freund/Annabelle Projat GER on rank 6. Diego Botin/Iago Lopez ESP extended their lead in the 49ers on 10 points. Schmidt/Böhme GER follow on rank 2. The windsurfers sailed only 2 of the 3 scheduled races. Dorian Van Rijsselberge added another bullet to his result sheet and is already 16 points ahead of Paul Rozier FRA on 2nd. The Canadians could not repeat the good results of day one finishing the two heats in the 20ies. Nevertheless, the kept the top ten overall ranks on 5th (Zach Plavsic) and 9 (Gabriel Verrier-Paquette). In the RS:X women, Maia Dziarnowska POL remains on top. New on rank 2 is Hélène Noesmoen FRA.
