Trans-Atlantic Record - François Gabart FRA ready in New York

François Gabart FRA with his Maxi-Trimaran 'Macif' was the winner of the Transat three weeks ago. For his return journey to Europe, he intends to attack the one-hand Atlantic record West to East of Francis Joyon FRA, i.e. 5 days, 2 hours and 56 minutes. Since yesterday, the Vendée Globe winner has been on stand-by in New York, waiting for a favorable weather window.
