Tornado - World Championship 2016 - Lindau GER - Day 1

Lake Constance welcomed the Tornado World Championship with a fresh up to 25 kn westwind building up rough waves off Lindau on the eastern end of the Lake. Two races were sailed and the defending champions Trigonis/Paschalidis GRE have already taken the lead with two bullets. Bob and Marc Baier GER follow on rank 2, Colby/Leonard AUS are 3rd. Many of the 35 teams from 11 nations were forced to abandon the races with equipment failures or after capsizes.
