Atlantic Records - a new solo 24 hours' record by Thomas Coville FRA

On the way back from New York to Frankreich with his Maxi-Trimaran 'Sodebo', Thomas Coville FRA improved the 24-hours-solo-record considerably with 714 miles (1322 km) completed at an average speed of 29,75 kn (over 55 km/h). The news and the video.
At the 'Transat' two weeks ago, Coville FRA finished 2nd behind François Gabart FRA ('Macif'), who is still waiting in New York for an optimal weather window to attack the North Atlantic W to E record on his way back to France.
