Olympic Classes - Kieler Woche - Kiel GER - Day 1

Part II of the Kiel Week, with the Olympic Classes except the Windsurfers, began yesterday with sun and a light breeze.
The 49ers completed two races and the first leaders are Kostov/Cupac CRO one point ahead of Warrer/Lübeck DEN and Schmidt/Böhme GER. Jurcok/Lorenz GER are first in the 49ersFX ahead of Wedemeyer/Wedemeyer GER and Lutz/Beucke GER. Gerz/Szymanski GER won both heats in the 470s in front of Sozykin/Gribanov RUS and the first women's team Anna Kirilyuk/Liudmilla Dmitreva RUS. Two race wins also for Max Kohlhoff GER in the Finns with Philipp Kasueske GER and Deniss Karpak EST on the ranks 2 and 3. Only 6 teams compete in the Nacra 17 with Paul Kohlhoff/Carolina Werner GER winning all three heats.
