GC32-Catamaran - Extreme Sailing Series - Act 3 - Cardiff GBR - Day 1

8 races were sailed on the short and narrow course near the shore during the 1st day of the Extreme Sailing Series in Cardiff with the expected fresh breeze of up to 20 kn in the gusts. The experienced teams had the upperhand with the familiar faces of 'Oman Air' (Morgan Larson USA) - with 5 race wins - and 'Red Bull Sailing Team' (Roman Hagara AUT) showing their dominance at the front of the fleet. Not far behind are 'SAP Xtreme Sailing Team' (Jes Gram-Hansen DEN) and 'Alinghi' (Arno Psarophagis SUI) on 3rd and 4th.
