2.4m, Skud-18, Sonar - Paralympic Games 2016 - Rio de Janeiro BRA - Day 1

Yesterday, the first races of the 2016 Sailing Paralympics 2016 have been completed with all three classes sailing 2 races each. The favorites are already in the top ranks.
Finishing 1 and 2, Helena Lucas GBR is the first leader in the 2.4m, 2 points ahead of Heiko Kröger GER. At equal points on rank 3 are Dee Smith USA and Matt Bugg AUS. The 2012 Paralympic Champions Daniel Fitzgibbon/Liesl Tesch AUS, day ranks 1 and 2 as well, are first in the Skuds ahead of the tied John McRoberts/Jacky Gay CAN (5/1) and Marco Gualandris/Marta/Zanetti ITA. In the Sonars, Colin Harrison AUS and his team are on top followed by the teams of Richard Dodson NZL, Vasilis Christoforou GRE and Lasse Klötzing GER at equal points.
