Around the world record - Maxi-Trimaran 'Sodebo' - Day 11

Yesterday was another fast day for Thomas Coville FRA with 635 nm covered in 24 hours. His advantage on the existing record is now 1091 nm and the average speed is over 30 kn (= 56 km/h). Having reached the 45th Parallel, he is veering now eastwards and will probably loose some speed during the day because of the St-Helena anticyclone extended way down South. Go deeper South is not feasable as the Antarctic drift ice is not far away for the moment.
