The leading boats are still favored by fresh trade winds and advance South at good speeds. Alex Thompson GBR was again the fastest in the last 24 hours with 484 miles completed. His advantage on the second-placed Armel Le Cléac'h FRA closely followed by Sébastien Josse FRA has grown to 100 nm. Vincent Riou FRA follows with a 136 nm backlog on rank 4. With the exception of Sébastien Destremau FRA and Didac Costa ESP started later after a repair stop, all boats have now crossed the innertropical concergence zone. Alan Roura SUI remains on rank 25.
