Legendary Paul Elvström DEN dead

Paul Elvström DEN died on 7 December 2016 at the age of 88 in his home in Hellerup DEN near Copenhagen. In the 50ties of the last century, the four-fold Olympic Champion revolutionized sailing in many aspects, be it training methods, sails, equipment, materials and even clothing. In addition to his Olympic Medals, he had a palmares of 11 World Champion's titles from 1954 till 1974 in the Finn, Star, Soling, FD, 5.5 m, Snipe.
