IMOCA Open 60 - Vendée Globe 2016/17 - Day 42

Yesterday, Armel Le Cléac’h FRA extended his lead on Alex Thomson GBR to 442 nm, but he was slowed down this morning in a lull zone. The incident of the day was the dismasting of Stéphane Le Diraison FRA on rank 10. Rich Wilson USA is on the 17th place but with Le Diraison FRA abandoning, he will advance on rank 16.
