For the last six days, the Maxi-Trimaran 'IDEC' has been sailing 820 nm and more daily on the South-Indian Ocean - the fastest sailing week of all times ! The average speed was 36 kn (67/km/h !) - here the latest onboard video.
During these six days, Francis Joyon FRA and his team transformed the 700 nm backlog in the 425 nm lead this morning UTC. Today, they will pass Cape Leeuwin, the most southwestern point of Australia.
