Trophée Jules Verne - Trimaran IDEC - Day 23

Francis Joyon FRA and his team have opted for a fast shorter course near the 60th southern parallel in the middle of the South Pacific. Despite of some transistion zones, the Maxi-Trimaran 'IDEC' maintains high speeds, completing 698 miles in the past 24 hours, average speed 29,6 kn, and increased the advantage on the record to 1'182 nm. 2'300 nm are left to Cape Horn, that 'IDEC' should round in 3 days if the good wind forecast stays on.
