As far as the overall rankings are concerned, a difference exists between the news text on the chaotic race 3 - with 'Yamaha' with David McDiarmid NZL still as leader considering a race 3 redress on average points - and the published ranking list with 'Yamaha' NZL on 7th - counting the 27 points for the abandoned race 3. Race 5 today, sailed in light to moderate winds around 10 kn, has already been terminated with 'Asko Appliances' with Marcus Ashley-Jones AUS and Seve Jarvin AUS as clear winner ahead of 'Harken' with the veteran Howie Hamlin USA (on rank 15 after 4 races) and C-Tech NZL with Alex Vallings NZL. 'Thurlow Fisher Lawyers' are first overall, 11 points ahead of the defending champion 'Smeg' and today's winner 'Asko Appliances' on 3rd.
