Windsurfing - RS:X-European Championship 2017 - Marseille FRA - Start today

The Olympic RS:X windsurfers begin their European Championships in Marseille FRA today as well. 108 men from 30 nations and 54 women from 20 nations are on the entry lists. Olivia Mew CAN and Farrah Hall USA in the women's and Gabriel Verrier-Paquette CAN, Ignacio Berenguer MEX, Juan Varela MEX and Pedro Pascual USA represent North America.
The first runs today will take place in a well-established Mistral breeze, the preferred turf for the strong Polish male and female athletes. The World Ranking Nbr 1 and light-wind specialist Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI will have another opportunity to improve and test his big-breeze skills.
