Windsurfing - Techno 293+ - World Championship 2017 - Quiberon FRA - Day 2

The Techno Windsurfer World Championship in Quiberon FRA has been underway for two days, for the first time sailed with a new Youth board version - the Techno293 - with a larger rig to be used at the Youth Olympics in 2018. Quiberon regatta is a qualification event for the Youth Olympics.
After 4 races, Giorgia Speciale ITA is first in the Girls (50 participants, 23 nations). In the Boys (95 participants, 28 nations, 5 continents), two Greek windsurfers are ahead with Alexandros Kalpogiannakis GRE first and Leonidas Tsortanidis GRE second. Fabien Pianazza FRA follows on rank 3.

- Stephen Cramer USA 19th as best of 4 USA boys
- Cristobal Hagerman MEX 32nd as best of 3 MEX boy
- Joanna Diego MEX 31st as best of 5 MEX girls
