The Kite Foiler World Championship 2017 began in Oman yesterday with six races per group in a moderate 10kn breeze.
Oli Bridge GBR, age 18, dominated his group winning 5 heats and taking the overall first place in the interim's rankings. His twin-brother Guy Bridge GBR finished 4 runs of the second group on top, as did Nico Parlier FRA in his group. Both share rank 2 overall.
In the women, the defending champion Daniele Moroz USA has taken the lead.
