 Laser  Olympic Worldcup  Hyeres FRA  Day 4, Railey and Reineke USA on track for the Medal Race
Fresher winds compared to the previous days prevailed on Hyères Bay yesterday during the two races of the Lasers. The Qualification Series will be concluded today with another two heats per class.
Inspite of rather medium results (14/17). the local Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA defended his lead in the Lasers Standard, but Filip Jurisic CRO reduced his backlog on 2 points, and also Sam Meech NZL on rank 3 is not far away. Charlie Buckingham USA and Chris Barnard USA are 31 points behind the Medal Race cut, too much to catch up in today's races.
Marit Bouwmeester NED extended her lead in the Lasers Radial on 42 points. Maite Carlier BEL follows on rank 2. Anne-Marie Rindom DEN and Monika Mikkola FIN share the 3rd place. 16 points is the advantage of Erika Reineke USA on the 11th place, and she as well as Paige Railey USA are ahead of their Medal Race qualifications at the end of the day.
