The fleet, still split in two groups, was still heading South during the past 24 hours with the western yachts clearly leading. But now, they are about to loose speed and have been making 2kn less compared to the main fleet in the East this morning UTC sailing in fresher trade winds. It remains to be seen which option will be paying.
Sébastien Simon/Morgan Lagravière FRA have reclaimed the first place ahead of Hardy/Ruyant FRA and Marchand/Loison FRA 2,5 resp 4nm behind. Justine Mettraux SUI/Isabelle Joschke GER/FRA are on rank 9 with a 233nm backlog on the leaders.
