18 Footer - Australian National Championship - Sydney AUS - Race 5

The fifth regatta of the Australian 18-Footer Championship was held on Sydney Harbour last Sunday in an 18kn breeze with the experienced teams taking the first positions.
'Smeg' with Michael Coxon AUS finished first ahead of 'Finnport' (Keagan York AUS) and 'Asko' James Dorron AUS. These three teams are considered main favorites for the JJ Giltinan Trophy (the inofficial 18-Footer Worlds) in the last February days. They will be challenged by the defending Champions of last year from New Zealand.
