Three races were held during the first part of the 2019 American Yacht Club Spring Series in Rye, NY, over the past weekend. The 75 teams present sailed split in 10 PHRF and J-xxx One-Design classes. In the 7-boat IRC-1 division, the Swan 45 Ticket to Ride of Edward Whitmore, Norfolk, VA, USA, and the Swan 42 Quintessence of Roger Widmann, Larchmont, NY, USA, share the lead. In the largest fleet, the J-105 with 14 boats, Paul Beaudin, New York, NY, USA is clearly on top 10 points ahead of David Willis, Huntington, NY, USA. --- The results. --- The Championship will continue over the coming weekend May 4/5.
