Major changes on top of the Laser Standard Worlds rankings after the two races of Saturday, June 6th. The down-under duo Sam Meech NZL and Matthew Wearn AUS, separated by one point, is new on top after six races. One point behind follows Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA on 3rd. Walking side-by-side 3 points behind the leader are the Laser legend Robert Scheidt BRA on 5th and the Olympic Champion Tom Burton AUS on 6th. The leaderboard is incredibly tight with still only 10 points separating the top-10 sailors. ----- Major changes also in the positions of the best North Americans among the 156 participants with Charlie Buckingham USA now on 17th, Christopher Barnard USA on 31st, Robert Davis CAN on 32nd and Henry Marshall USA on 42nd, all qualified for the Goldfleet. ----- Two races per fleet were completed today in 15-18kn winds and sunny skies to determine which sailors shall continue the Championship in the Gold-, Silver or Bronze fleets. ----- The results and the news.
