The Laser Radial Youth World Championship 2019 began yesterday on the 1976 Olympic waters of Kingston CAN with two races per fleet. ----- In the 160 boat Boys fleet, Tom Higgins IRL has taken the lead ahead of Martin Kowalski FRA and Gasper Strahovnik SLO. Michael Burns USA is 5th, Tayte Stefaniuk CAN is 29th. ----- In the 48 boat Girls fleet, Mina Ferguson AUS and Eve McMahon IRL share the lead. On rank 3 is Mathilda Nicholls GBR.
