The 5.5 metre World Championship in Helsinki FIN was concluded yesterday with two races held in a moderate but very shifty breeze. ----- Winning the last race, Kristian Nergaard NOR and his team earned the title one point ahead of the defending champion Mark Holowesko BAH. Gavin McKinney BAH finished on 3rd. A prominent helmsman - Esko Rechardt FIN, Finn Olympic Champion 1980 - was racing in the Classic Division terminating on rank 15 overall. ----- The results and the final report.
