As a tune-up to the World Championship, the Fireballs sailed the North American Championship during the past days with Ian Dobson/Richard Wagstaff GBR as winners after 5 races ahead of Claude Mermod/Ruedi Moser SUI and Joe Jospe/Tom Egli CAN.
