Finishing on the ranks 1 and 2 in their groups, Finn Alexander AUS and Tonci Stipanovic CRO have taken the lead after two races sailed at the Laser World Championship in Sandringham AUS this morning UTC. On rank 3 follows Philipp Buhl GER. Pavlos Kontides CYP and Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA occupy the ranks 4 and 5. Charlie Buckingham USA is 20th, Chris Barnard USA 27th. Among the participants are five Olympic medalists with the Laser legend Robert Scheidt BRA or the defending World Champion, World Ranking nbr 1 and Olympic Champion Tom Burton AUS, who lost the Australian selection for Tokyo 2020 against Matthew Wearn AUS.
