The final day of the Portugal Grand Prix saw for the first time fresher winds around 15kn. ----- With 2 more race wins, Jordi Xammar/Joel Rodriguez ESP won in the 470 Men in a convincing way. Balasz and Zsombor Gyapias HUN just managed to hold on to 2nd place, Anton Dahlberg/Frederok Bergström SWE moved up to 3rd at the end. Stu McNay/Dave Hughes USA (Trevor Moore Foundation) finished on rank 6. Shawn Harvey/Augie Dale USA (Oyster Bay 470 Team) remained on rank 24. ----- In the 470 Women, Luise Wanser/Anastasya Winkel GER grasped the win ahead of Camille Lecointre/Aloise Retornaz FRA and Hannah Mills/Eilidh McIntyre GBR. Carmen and Emma Cowles USA (Larchmont YC) had their worst day in the fresher breeze (ranks 10 and 13) missing the podium just one point behind the Olympic Champion Mills. Nikole Barnes/Lara Dallman-Weiss USA (St. Francis YC/New York YC) sailing only 4 of the 6 races finished on rank 20. Atlantic and Nora Brugman USA (Shelter Island YC) completing 3 of the 6 heats follow on the 21st place among the 26 teams. ----- In the 470 mixed, Nitai Hasson/Saar Tamir ISR defended rank one just one point ahead of a trio lead by Marina Lefort/Paco Lepoutrre FRA. In the stronger winds, Louisa Nordstrom/Trevor Bornarth USA (Oyster Bay 470 Team) could not keep up with the best dropping on the final 7th rank. ----- The RS:X windsurfers sailed 3 races yesterday, with final wins going to Piotr Myszka POL in the Men and Katy Spychakov ISR in the Women.
