Persico 69 - Youth Foiling Gold-Cup 2021 - Gaeta ITA - Day 3

After only light winds on the first day of the Youth Foiling Gold Cup with the 69F hardly flying, a fresher breeze filled in yesterday in Gaeta, and 5 races could be sailed. The three more experienced Foiler boat teams continued to dominate the action. ----- Team Dutch Sail with Cas Van Dongen NED won all 5 races of the day and leads clearly ahead of Team Young Azzurra and Team Agiplast from Hong Kong. ----- Impressive performance for the new Southern Challenge team of Langston Goldenburg, Riley Gibbs, and Anna Weis USA learning fast, solidly holding rank 5. ----- Qualifying continues to March 8 after which the top six teams advance to the Finals on March 10-12. ----- The report (PDF).
