Cloudy skies allowed for a light easterly to predominate at the beginning of the day and made it difficult to set up the first race on Saturday. Fortunately, the sun broke through enabling the southerly sea breeze to build to 12-15kn, and four races could be completed. ----- Here the top ranks in the largest fleets: ----- Melges 24 (35 boats) Travis Weisleder, Richmond, VA, USA, and his team 9 points ahead of the best of the day (2-1-1-2) Bora Gulari, Detroit, MI.
